Traditional Drip Machine
Step 1
Start with fresh or filtered water, heated to just below a boil.
Step 2
Grind your beans just prior to brewing, and make sure to select the right grind for your brewing method.
Step 3
Use 2 tablespoons of ground coffee per 6 fluid ounces of water (3/4 cup).
Step 4
You can adjust the ratio of coffee grounds to water based on your personal taste – if you like a stronger brew, add more grounds, or if you’d like a mellow cup, try adding less.
Step 5
Make sure you don’t leave the brewed pot of coffee over heat for more than 15 minutes, it can compromise the taste and result in a less delicious brew.
